The Clario Spreadsheet node allows you to write a data stream directly to:

  • a blank spreadsheet
  • a specific tab on a user supplied spreadsheet

Configuration

Template File

Specify a template file by typing the filename in the Template File field or select a file by clicking [Select], which launches the Clario File Browser. File names may contain User-Defined Functions references.

Note

Only Excel Workbook (.xlsx) allowed.

Pivot Tables in Template File

When using pivot tables in a template, it is recommended to check the “Refresh data when opening file” box before uploading the template to Clario.

Location

Select the location of the Template File. Locations may contain User-Defined Functions references. If a constant reference is used to identify the location, it must resolve to “project” or “shared.” Make sure you select the correct file location as files with the same name may be located in both shared and project files.

Data Sheet

Specify a data sheet for the data to be written to. If no data sheet is specified, data will be written to the last sheet in the workbook. If the data sheet specified does not exist, then the workflow will fail.

Any existing data in the data sheet will be overwritten.

Use Blank Template

Put a check by Use Blank Template to write data to a new workbook instead of an existing template file. Unless specified, the data sheet will be named “data.”

Output File

New File

Create a new file name by typing in the Output File field. New file names may contain User-Defined Functions references.

Note

Be sure to supply the extension (.xlsx) to your output file name to ensure it opens properly once downloaded.

Select File

Select a file by clicking [Select], which launches the File Browser. Select the desired file from the list and click [OK].

Location

Specify the desired output file location. Locations may contain User-Defined Functions references. If a constant reference is used to identify the location, it must resolve to “project” or “shared”. If no location is specified, it will default to project.

Include Header Row

To include a header row of attribute names in the output data file, put a check by Include Header Row.

Download Spreadsheet
